The Tel Aviv Museum of Art – or its western part called “Herta and Paul Amir Building”, which was designed by Preston Scott Cohen and opened only in 2011, to be precise – was hands down one of the most impressive buildings I’ve ever seen! I mean, look at that breathtaking architecture! Considering the art I specially loved Vik Muniz‘ exhibition “Pictures of Anything” – he reproduces (amongst other works) well known paintings (Klimt, Botticelli, Picasso, …) with materials like chocolate, waste, threads and the like. Quite amazing, huh? Also, I really liked Annette Messager’s “My Vows” from 1992, which you can see in the last pic.
